Looking for a meeting room in The Hague?
The Hague runs on international teams — embassies, NGOs, the courts, EU offices — and they all need somewhere calm and central to meet, with a welcome that simply works in English. That is what we do.
Book a meeting room in The Hague at Vergaderen aan de Regentes and your team is hosted in our Wilhelmina room: 2 to 15 people, a boardroom layout for up to 12, and the Theresia room next door as a large breakout. Coffee, tea, water, wifi, a flip chart and a screen come as standard, and current prices are on our rates page.
The building dates from 1905 — the Netherlands’ first infant welfare clinic — so you meet somewhere with character and daylight, not another grey conference room. To book, send us a WhatsApp; we reply quickly, in English, and outside office hours too.

What makes a good meeting room in The Hague?
The best meeting rooms get out of the way and let the work happen. For an international team that comes down to small things done well: a host who greets your guests in English, a quiet room full of daylight, and a screen and wifi that just work when a colleague dials in from abroad. Our 1905 building brings the character; we take care of the rest.
We set the room up as a boardroom for up to 12 as standard. Use the Theresia room alongside when you want to break into groups. The Wilhelmina room seats up to 15, and the coffee and tea keep coming through the day.

Why international teams meet here
- We assist in English — your guests feel at home from the first hello.
- Central and easy to reach, also for visitors from outside the city.
- A calm, characterful building, not an anonymous conference centre.
- Catering to measure — halal as standard, vegan or allergen-free on request.
International teams come from many backgrounds. A personal, English-speaking welcome and inclusive catering make everyone feel considered — and that shows in the meeting.
Same building, arranged for your kind of session: a small, private room for a one-to-one, an inspiring setting for creative work, or a calm strategy session away from the office.

How is this different from a large venue?
| Feature | Vergaderen aan de Regentes | Large meeting venues |
|---|---|---|
| Atmosphere | Homely, historic building (1905) | Modern, functional, large scale |
| Catering | As organic as possible, halal, home-made where we can | Standard packages, broad choice |
| Service | Personal, via WhatsApp | Online portals, large scale |
| Capacity | 2 to 15 people, intimate | 10 to 100+ people, lots of choice |
| Ideal for | Small teams who want character | Large groups, events |
At a large venue you share the building and check in at a reception desk. Here your team has a calm, private building with a personal welcome — and you still book flexibly, from two hours.
Running a hands-on workshop or a training day? It is the same venue, set up for the way you work — see our prices and packages for what is included.

What does an ordinary meeting room leave out?
- An English-speaking welcome for international guests.
- A calm, characterful room instead of a grey hall.
- Inclusive catering — halal as standard, vegan or allergen-free on request.
- Daylight and high ceilings that keep attention sharp.
- A large breakout room for group work.
- Someone who thinks along on layout, catering and timing.
An easy, English-speaking welcome sets the tone before the meeting starts.

A special building with history
Where your team will gather for a meeting room, mothers once brought their newborns: since 1905 this was the first consultatiebureau in the Netherlands. The architecture was made to put people at ease so something could grow. It still works — high ceilings, natural light, a quiet inner garden to step outside. Only what grows here has changed: not children, but ideas, plans and connections.
