What makes a good meeting space?
A space does its quiet work through atmosphere: calm, daylight, a building with character that feels nothing like the office. People relax, talk more freely and stay with it longer. Ours is a home, not a hall — and a team feels the difference.
You have the building to yourselves: the Wilhelmina room for the group, the Theresia room nearby when you want to break out, the Beatrix room for a quiet one-to-one. Coffee and tea keep coming through the day.

How is this different from a large venue?
| Feature | Vergaderen aan de Regentes | Large meeting venues |
|---|---|---|
| Atmosphere | Homely, historic building (1905) | Modern, functional, large scale |
| Catering | As organic as possible, halal, home-made where we can | Standard packages, broad choice |
| Service | Personal, via WhatsApp | Online portals, large scale |
| Capacity | 2 to 15 people, intimate | 10 to 100+ people, lots of choice |
| Ideal for | Small teams who want character | Large groups, events |
At a large venue you share the building and the noise. Here the whole place is yours — quiet, characterful and private — and you still book from two hours.

What does an ordinary meeting space leave out?
- A building with character that’s yours alone, not a shared floor.
- Daylight and high ceilings instead of a grey box.
- Atmosphere and calm that put a team at ease.
- An English-speaking welcome for international guests.
- Catering that thinks of everyone — halal as standard.
- Someone who sets it up so you don’t have to.
Give a team a place that feels like theirs and the work comes easier.

A special building with history
Where your team will gather for a meeting space, mothers once brought their newborns: since 1905 this was the first consultatiebureau in the Netherlands. The architecture was made to put people at ease so something could grow. It still works — high ceilings, natural light, a quiet inner garden to step outside. Only what grows here has changed: not children, but ideas, plans and connections.
