Looking for a training room in The Hague?
Where a group learns matters as much as what it learns. Our 1905 building gives a training day a calm, welcoming setting — high ceilings, daylight and a homely feel that takes the edge off and lets people settle in and take part.
The Wilhelmina room seats 2 to 15; we set it up as a boardroom by default, which works well for most trainings, and the Theresia room is there as a breakout. A presentation screen, flip chart and wifi are included.
Prices are on our rates page. We host in English — to book, send a WhatsApp; we reply fast, outside office hours too.

What makes a good place to train?
People learn best when they feel comfortable. A relaxed, informal atmosphere — daylight, calm, a room that feels more like a home than a classroom — does more for a training than any seating plan. That’s what our 1905 building brings.
We set the Wilhelmina room as a boardroom by default, which suits most trainings; if your session needs a different layout, just say so and we’ll arrange it. The Theresia room is there for exercises in groups, and coffee and tea keep the day relaxed.
Read on to see how you arrange it yourself.
Why trainers choose this room
- A relaxed, informal atmosphere that helps a group learn.
- A calm, characterful building, not a clinical classroom.
- A screen, flip chart and wifi that simply work.
- Catering to measure — halal as standard, vegan or allergen-free on request.
A good training room mostly gets out of the way: a warm, easy atmosphere where people relax, open up and take more in. Ours does that — everything else is simply there when you need it.

How is this different from a large venue?
| Feature | Vergaderen aan de Regentes | Large meeting venues |
|---|---|---|
| Atmosphere | Homely, historic building (1905) | Modern, functional, large scale |
| Catering | As organic as possible, halal, home-made where we can | Standard packages, broad choice |
| Service | Personal, via WhatsApp | Online portals, large scale |
| Capacity | 2 to 15 people, intimate | 10 to 100+ people, lots of choice |
| Ideal for | Small teams who want character | Large groups, events |
A large venue is functional and a little impersonal. Here a group trains in a calm, characterful building with a personal welcome — an atmosphere people remember — and you book by the half-day or full day.

What does an ordinary training room leave out?

A special building with history
Where your team will gather for a training room, mothers once brought their newborns: since 1905 this was the first consultatiebureau in the Netherlands. The architecture was made to put people at ease so something could grow. It still works — high ceilings, natural light, a quiet inner garden to step outside. Only what grows here has changed: not children, but ideas, plans and connections.
